Once The Graph installed on a browser, you will find an icon / logo of The Graph on the addon bar on your browser; it is on top right corner.

Using The Graph
It is simple to start using The Graph: Click The Graph logo on the addon bar browser. The Graph will show up above your Facebook page.
Note: First time user need to login by entering the Socialsuite username and password; not the username and password of Facebook.
The Graph has two parts:
- Menu (on the left)
- and content (on the right)
On the menu part, there are 7 kinds of searches: people, stories, groups, pages, places, events, and apps.
You can select the search category that you want to explore by clicking the menu.
Content on the right part is the feature where you can use to input the search criteria that you want to explore.
The contents will be changing based on the search menu that you select.
People: to find people specifically. There are various criteria that you can define such as age, sex, etc.
Stories: to find posts in the form of text, photo, video, share, article, notes, etc. The result will include the posts of people and also fanspage.
Groups: to find groups on Facebook.
Pages: to find fanspage on any criteria.
Places: to find places on any criteria. Places are almost similar to fanspage.
Events: to find events/ agenda on Facebook.
Apps: to find Facebook applications (not mobile/ smart phone/ Android applications).
How to Search Using The Graph
- Select search type that you want to explore by clicking menu on the left side.
- Fill the criteria that you want to search.
- Hit the search button.

Refine, Sort & Filter Feature
After doing a search using The Graph, there are small up down arrow and a funnel icon right next to the Facebook search box.
Funnel icon is a refine feature, up down arrow icon is Sort & Filter feature.
Refine – Editing the Search Criteria
You can click that funnel icon to edit or refine the search criteria that you are currently using.
This feature is useful in case you forget to insert certain criteria, or if you want to get more specific results than the previous search – without entering the search criteria from the very beginning.
Note: In case you want to redo the search from the beginning, you can click The Graph logo on the addon bar (top right corner of the browser).
Sort & Filter – Filter and Put Search Results in Order
You can click up down arrow icon on the right side of Facebook search box to simplify the search processes to find the contents that you want to explore from the previous search.
It works by filtering and putting the results from various criteria in order.
For instance, for stories search, you can put the search result in order based on the like amounts. For group search, you can put the search result in order based on the member amounts.
For instance, for stories search, you can put the search result in order based on the number of like. For group search, you can put the search result in order based on the number group.
- Loading process will be stopped automatically when there is no more results on the search result page or when it reaches 1000 data.
- You can also get the result immediately without waiting for 1000 data by clicking Show Results.
- The process speed depends on the internet connections that you use.
- People and places search can not be sorted.
Quick Sort Feature
With this feature, you quickly sort posts of a page, group, user, and newsfeed; without using The Graph to do a search first.
How to Do It:
- Right click anywhere the page.
- Select Quick Sort menu.
